Act 2, scene 2-
This scene shows how Lady Macbeth and Macbeth react to killing the king. Lady Macbeth was angry at Macbeth because she thought he might have woken the guards up. Macbeth on the other hand felt so guilty and he wished he could knock on the door and Duncan would wake up, this helps the reader understand that he felt awful. The way Lady Macbeth reacted showed that she was not sorry for what they had done and she was more concerned about getting away other than the fact that she helped kill someone.
